Paula joined Swords Dental in 2007. She received a certificate course in dental nursing in 1999. Paula then completed a diploma course in dental hygiene in University College Cork. During the course she was awarded the communicator award by the university.

Paula has worked as a dental hygienist at the Swords Dental since 2007. She has completed a course in smoking cessation by the HSE as well as an updated CPR-EAD course. Paula has been a member of both the Irish Dental Hygienist Association and Dental Council.
