Invisalign™ at Swords Dental
Swords Dental are thrilled to announce that we will now offering Invisalign to our patients. We will be hosting an Invisalign open day on Sat 1st May.
We will be offering a FREE Invisalign assessment to all those who attend with FREE course of teeth whitening and cleaning for those who complete a course of Invisalign treatment to anyone who books on this day. This offer is subject to availability and it’s important to book soon to avoid disappointment.
Invisalign is a clear alternative to braces that uses a custom-made series of aligners to help straighten your teeth. You receive a new set of aligners approximately every two weeks until your treatment is complete. These are trays that are made of comfortable and virtually invisible plastic that you wear over your teeth. Over the course of your treatment, because each aligner is slightly different, they gently shift your teeth into place.
Who can get InVisalign?
Invisalign isn’t for everyone. Patients with severe cases may not be candidates. Also, Invisalign is a good option for older teens and adults, but it’s not recommended for children or tweens because their teeth are still growing. Also, it can be removed, and in order to be effective, it must be worn 20-22 hours/day.
As long as the case isn’t overly severe, here is a list of common problems Invisalign can treat:
- Gapped teeth
- Crowded teeth
- Overbite
- Underbite
- Crossbite
Of course, we will work with you to determine if Invisalign is an option for your dental needs or a good fit for your lifestyle.
What are the benefits of Invisalign?
There are many benefits of Invisalign. The ones that our patients seem to like most is that you can eat anything you want and it is virtually invisible. Other benefits include:
- No wires or brackets, which can cause discomfort
- You can remove them for playing sports and instruments
- Treatment times can be reduced
- You don’t have to come see us as often.
Is Invisalign more expensive than braces?
The cost of Invisalign is comparable to traditional braces. Of course, it varies from patient to patient depending on needs. We charge between 1500-1850 per arch depending on the case. The initial consultation is free.
If you’d like to come to Swords Dental to see Anna for an Invisalign assessment you can contact us at 8401001.
